Tian Xuan is a member of the Academic Board of Tsinghua University, Associate Dean and  Chair  Professor of Finance at PBC School of Finance, Tsinghua University. He is a delegate to the 14th National People's Congress. He is also the “Cheung Kong Scholar” Distinguished Professor, and a recipient of the National Excellent Young Scienticist Fund. Professor Tian is an award winning researcher in the areas of corporate finance with special research interests on venture capital, corporate innovation, and payout policy.  His research results have been published multiple times in top international academic journals such as Journal of Finance, Journal of Financial Economics, and Review of Financial Studies, with over 13000 citations from Google Scholar. He presided over a major project of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and won the Outstanding Young Scholar Awards, the China Young Economist Awards, and the Fudan Premium Awards of Management for Outstanding Contributions.
